Cue — Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 26, 2026 · Effective: May 26, 2026

Cue ("the app", "we") is a private couple diary that helps two paired partners look back on their week together. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and your choices. It applies to the Cue Android app (package com.ppailab.cue) operated by PPAI Lab.

1. What we collect

We do not access content outside the app. Cue never reads your KakaoTalk, SMS, notifications, or other apps. Analysis covers only what you write inside Cue.

2. What we do NOT collect

3. Ads

4. How we use it

5. Service providers (data processors)

6. Data sharing

Content you create is shared only with your paired partner, by design. We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers above strictly to provide the service — including the Advertising ID and ad-request data shared with Google AdMob to serve the rewarded ad — or where required by law.

7. Retention & deletion

8. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS and stored in Google Firebase with access controlled by security rules so that only you and your paired partner can read your couple's content. API keys for the report service are kept server-side (Cloud Functions), never in the app.

9. Children

Cue is intended for adults (18+). It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Your rights

Depending on your region (including under GDPR and Korea's PIPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these, contact us below.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
